Deal Town Council calls for a solution to Middle Deal Road

                                             Traffic problems

Deal Town Council's Transport Working Group will be holding a a public meeting with residents affected by on-going traffic problems in Middle Deal Road, Southwall Road, Albert Road, Matthews Close and the vicinity around.

Daily, people living in the area are blighted by the continuous traffic snarl-ups with huge vehicles, including emergency vehicles, making their way through the narrow part of Middle Deal Road on their way to Southwall Industrial Estate, the Recycling Plant and the wider area.

Deal Town Council discussed the ongoing problem at Full Council Meeting in February and is asking local people to the public meeting to elicit their views, opinions and possible solutions to the traffic problems blighting the lives of residents.

The public meeting is to be in Deal Town Hall commencing at 7.15 pm on Monday 24th July. A panel of councillors comprising Deal Town Council, Dover District Council and Kent County Council will speak on the subject but would invite the views, opinions and other expressions of interest from people living in the area.

Leaflets have been distributed around the immediate area,  please email the council on deal.town.council@deal.gov.uk  or telephone 01304 361999 to reserve your place asap to avoid disappointment.

If you are blighted by traffic problems along Middle Deal Road, Deal Town Council would like to hear from you.
