 COVID INFORMATION OFFICER

 Chris Hobbs-East has taken on the role as Covid Information Officer for Deal so that Deal Town Council has a more local view and involvement on covid restrictions and guidelines. He will predominantly be working with businesses within the High Street and Seafront as a go to person for any questions or problems businesses may have.

He will also be finding ways to encourage the public back to the High Street shops and Saturday Market, ensuring everyone feels safe to return to shopping within our wonderful town center.

The post is funded by HM Government through the safe to return to the High Street campaign which is in turn funded by a grant from the European Regional Development Fund.

If you see him in town please be sure to wave and say hello as he is also there to help anyone who may have questions over these strange and confusing times.

He can be found at the Deal Saturday Market every Saturday between 8am and 2pm. He will also be conducting surveys of the High Street and Seafront to see how we can improve and ease peoples shopping experiences.
