The Mayor of Deal, Cllr Oliver Richardson, shared a message of thanks with the host venues when Deal Warm Welcome drew to a close in April.
He said; “I would like to thank each and every one of you for your leadership, your time and your kindness this winter, allowing us to once again run Deal Warm Welcome for the town.
“May I ask you to extend that thanks to your team of volunteers who made the tea, made people smile and made such a big difference to the lives of many residents.
“We find ourselves in somewhat difficult times, but it a source of great pride that I see how the people of the town come together to look after each other and once again you rose to the challenge.”
