From time to time the regular traders are unable to attend the market.

When this is the case the Market Officer would like to fill these pitches for that week instead of leaving them empty. Thus, ensuring a full and varied market for visitors each week.

To help with this we run a Casual Waiting list, so that new traders can express an interest to have a stall, on the basis that a pitch will not be guaranteed each week and a fair system will be used to make sure all casual traders have the chance to trade when pitches become available.

Due to the nature of some absences casual traders will be offered a pitch at short notice. The market officer will strive to let casual traders know as soon as possible but it may be as late as the day before the market.
