Deal Town Council Grants 2023/24

Annual Grants - Specific conditions

1. There will be two categories of Annual Grant:

Small Grants – awards up to £500
Large Grants – awards from £501 to £1000.

2. The total Annual Grants fund available is £20,000.

3. A minimum of 50% of the Annual Grant fund will be awarded as Small Grants.

4. Three rounds of Annual Grant funding have been agreed for the year 2023-24

Round 1: applications must be received by 5pm on Thursday 31 August 2023

Round 2: applications must be received by 5pm on Tuesday 31 October 2023

Round 3: applications must be received by 5pm on Thursday 29 February 2024

2. Applications will be considered by the Grants Sub-Committee. Members will score applications according to the score sheets in Appendix 1c.

Green Grants 2023 - 24

Green grants are once again available for local projects in a need of a cash boost that will benefit the environment.

Deal Town Council has rolled over the budget from last year, opening up more than £3,000 of funding.

Round 1: applications must be received by 5pm on Tuesday 31 October 2023

Round 2: applications must be received by 5pm on Thursday 29 February 2024

Deal Town Council City of Sanctuary grant fund

Deal Town Council is committed to welcoming asylum seekers and refugees to Deal and has agreed to provide a new grant stream with a budget of £2,000 for the year 2023/24. (Read more on our 'Welcome the Stranger' page here.

Applications will be considered from individuals, host families and local organisations.
