Flood Wardens Wanted
Published: 05 February 2021
Flood wardens are volunteers trained to help and prepare people in local communities that are at risk of flooding. They play an important role in the preparing of a community flood plan and putting it in to practice. They also provide a vital link between a local community and those responsible for responding to a flood.
Kent Resilience and the Environment Agency are delivering a free online Flood Warden Training Session on Wednesday 24 February 2020 in the evening. During the course attendees will learn how to play a vital role as a Flood Warden in their community before, during and after a flood.
Kent Resilience have produce a leaflet with more information and details are also available on the Kent Prepared website.
