Hosting talks as well as social events; there are also groups of members who organise their own activities in a wide variety of subjects. If you see a gap in what they do, just ask the Groups Coordinator how you can help to fill it.
White Cliffs Country have two monthly meetings which are open to all members, each held on a Wednesday afternoon (the first and third Wednesdays every month). Once a month we meet at the Astor Theatre in Deal and the other meetings are held, in rotation, at other locations in the area e.g. Dover and Sandwich as well as Deal. These events may take the form of a social event, a quiz, games or an informal talk. These social events allow time to get to chat with friends and to get to know new people as well.
Also, get involved with arranging specific events in your area. Speak to the Committee if you would like to help or you have any suggestions. Groups run from 1st September each year. Some groups only run for a limited time, others run throughout the year. A new programme is put together each year and published around the end of July.
