Since a lifeboat station at Walmer was established in 1856, crews have received 28 awards for gallantry. Today, the station operates two inshore lifeboats – a B class Atlantic 85 and a smaller D class

We meet every third Sunday of each month from 2.30pm at Walmer Lifeboat Station.We are a well-established branch and are proud to be based in and work closely with Walmer Lifeboat Station.Our enthusiastic team raises money from flag days, collection boxes, the lifeboat station shop and public events.Our members also enjoy activities including visits, talks and social gatherings.New members are always welcome so if you would like to swing an occasional bucket or be more involved then we would love to hear from you.
