Mayor's Charities Concert

The Mayor will host a special concert to raise awareness of International Women’s Day.

The Deal Community Band will lead the performance at Deal Town Hall on Tuesday 14 March, with special guests, the ukulele band All Fingers and Thumbs.

Tickets are free but must be reserved in advance as space is limited.

The Worshipful Town Mayor of Deal, Cllr Chris Turner said: “It is important we mark International Women’s Day and this concert will raise awareness.

“As well as featuring songs from prominent female artists, our Deputy Mayor will speak about the essential role of women in local politics.

“Our guests will also be treated to a wide range of music and styles, all showcasing local talent.”

As part of the Mayor’s Charity Fund, the event will also raise money for local charities Deal Music & Arts and Deal Speaking Up Group. There will be a raffle and retiring collection.
