We are a small group of people who all share a common interest of model railways and we share our passion for model railways.
The Walmer Model Railway group is based at the East Kent Railway in Shepherdswell which is on the outskirts of DOVER, Kent.
We are a small group of people who all share a common interest of model railways and we share our passion for model railways with visitors of the E.K.R. on running days by allowing the general public access to our club rooms to see our club layouts.
We have an N gauge layout and we are in the process of creating a new 38' long OO gauge layout which will include scratch built, unique 3D printed and automated buildings all for everyone's entertainment, as well as a nice little Thomas layout for the kids to drive.
We meet every E.K.R. running day, which is normally a Sunday and special event weekends but also from March to the end of October we meet on a Wednesday evening from 18:00 - 21:00 hrs.
